Water Main Break Closes Busy Westchester Roadway

A water main break is causing the closure a busy Westchester roadway.

Warburton Avenue in Yonkers was closed at approximately 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, July 30 between Lamartine Avenue and Ashburton Avenue, officials said, forcing a closure of the roadway.

There was also reported flooding in the area as the city fire department works at repairing the damage.

There has been no timetable set for when the road will reopen or when the water main break will be repaired.
